Sažetak
The development of printing from its origins, as well as the graphic profession develops in accordance with general technical technological development. The intensive development in the last few decades is initiated and strengthened by information/communacation technologies as well as their implementations in graphic profssion. The implementation of the mentioned technologies as well as the appearance of the users interfaces and the Web sites has fundanmentally changed the way of the total business and the way of human life but not only in graphic profession. The way of communication, the way of production and the way of life have been changed. Graphic profession meets all the greater need for graphic communication. Highly sophisticated technology, which is the tool in the hands of professionals, enables the liberation of the graphic product from the technological dependence and leaves to it the semantic values. Such changes demand the new approach to the education system for graphic artists, the system which is traditionally bound to technology. This approach, in regard to the profession development in the last decade s demands considerable changes in the sense of transformation of education currculum towards graphic product and its semantic values in accordance with the rules set by the development of the multimedia society.
