Sažetak
The development of the Croatian Competency Framework(CCF) was a project initiated by the Croatian Chamber of Pharmacists in collaboration with the University of Zagreb Faculty of Pharmacy and Medical Biochemistry and the Croatian Pharmaceutical Society. It is based on the Global Competency Framework(GBFv1) developed by the FIP Education Initiative (FIPEd)to support the educational development of pharmacy practitioners in Croatia. A number of steps were taken to adjust the document to our national needs using the FIPEd needs-based educational professional model.Following translation and back translation, anextensive adaptation and validation were carried out by three consensus panel groups. Finally it went through a profession wide consultation and subsequent up-dating to complete the document. The aim of the lecture is to address CCF’s scope both as a part of a new continuous professional development (CPD) model and the structure for the pre-registration training program of Croatian pharmacy students.
