Sažetak
Croatia should be considered endemic for HAE. Recent clustering of HAE cases requires initiation of screening projects among local residents, and implementation of veterinary medicine preventive measures, with emphasis on the One Health approach. Diagnosing patients in advanced disease stages suggests low level of familiarity with the disease among clinicians, which should be improved by additional education.
