Sažetak
All participating countries completed the questionnaire and stated that national regulations supporting the provision of vaccination to migrants is available. Croatia, Italy, Portugal and Slovenia offer migrant children and adolescents all vaccines included in the National Immunization Plan. In Greece, DTP, IPV, Hib, HBV, MMR, PCV have been administered through vaccination campaigns. Malta provides vaccines against DTP, IPV, Hib and MMR. Croatia, Italy, Malta and Portugal also provide vaccination for adults. All countries deliver vaccinations in holding centres or community health services ; none deliver vaccinations at the site of entry. In all countries apart from Italy, information on administered vaccines is recorded in individual vaccination cards. Malta, Portugal and Slovenia also record it in immunization registries. Although diverse and with some critical points of difference, strategies for migrant vaccination are in place in all of the surveyed countries. Development of procedures to keep track of migrants’ immunization data across countries and studies to evaluate the effectiveness of the adopted strategies are needed.
