Sažetak
In this paper, we survey the sustainable production and consumption literature in South East Europe (SEE) in the 2016–2021 period to analyze the structure of the regional research in the field. We further examine if the regional literature incorporates the themes set by the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal (UN SDG) agenda, especially by the SDG goal 12. SDG 12 is focused on efficient usage of natural resources and energy, ensuring sustainable infrastructure and access to essential social services, employment, and quality of life. Using the science mapping approach, we identify the clusters of regional SEE literature. The bibliometric data are obtained from the Elsevier Scopus database, with most of the Scopus documents being previously mapped to the SDG-related research areas. Scientific data analysis and visualization are conducted with the Elsevier SciVal and Leiden University’s VOSviewer science mapping software.
