Sažetak
This study introduces a novel green information system (Green IS) for pro-environmental communication and behavioral interventions. Using Design Science Research (DSR) approach, we design, evaluate and define implementation strategy of an artifact that aims to enhance traditional means of environmental communication by providing vivid, immersive and interactive augmented reality (AR) simulations of environmental issues. Guided by three kernel theories, we designed and developed the artifact, and evaluated it through semi-structured interviews with professional users from the environmental communication ecosystem. The rigorous analysis of rich empirical data resulted in new theoretical developments, refined design principles and guidelines for implementing the artifact in practice.
