Sažetak
This chapter addresses the field of digital rhetoric. The first part explores difficulties in defining key terms which are as old as the field of rhetoric itself, offers categorization of the field as well as the list of the close scholarly fields, and finally, gives several terms similar to the term digital rhetoric. The second part provides a brief historical overview of digital rhetoric with emphasis on the prominent scholars. The third part explores research methods in the field grouping them into two broad categories, while the final part examines the relation between rhetorical skills and digital competencies.
