Sažetak
This study explored the relation between a gross motor coordination and visual–motor integration (VMI) in normally developing preschool children. One hundred and fifty-five children (78 boys and 77 girls) aged 5 years (±0.3), were assessed with 4 items measuring gross motor coordination and 1 item measuring VMI. ANOVA with motor ability (low, average, high) as a between group factor showed significant main effect (F [2, 152] = 13.88, p< .001) on VMI as a dependent variable, which indicated performance increase in VMI from low to high motor ability group. All motor items were also significantly correlated with BMGT. Results are discussed in terms of mutual neural structure related to both performances.
