Sažetak
Seen that the Republic of Croatia is a relatively small country with a very low level of technological and material resources, lagging behind western countries, Croatian companies, as well as other socio-economic subjects, have to contribute, in more ways than one, to higher education. To maintain their position in today's challenging market, individuals and firms have to work on the most important capital-knowledge. In this paper authors have addressed this issue by investigating the attitude towards the postgraduate education in the Republic of Croatia, the wxistence of the gaps between expectation and experience of postgraduate students and the quality of postgraduate studies in the Republic of Croatia, particulary at the Faculty of Economics, University of Zagreb from the point of view of postgraduate students, i.e. participants in those postgraduate studies.
