Sažetak
With his portrait sculpture, Oscar Nemon was directly involved in the process of construction and nurture of identity of two major British political Leaders, Winston Churchill and Margaret Thatcher. Nemon's portraits of Churchill realized for Windsor castle, Guildhall and for UK Parliament are in line with the archetypal projection of Churchill as an icon of the twentieth century, whereas his portrait of Thatcher was important for her political promotion and affirmation right before her winning the parliamentary elections.
