Sažetak
Considering the fact that the Croatian State Archives keeps archival materials of numerous very important institutions active in the territory of Croatia over time, it is very significant for the research of the Holocaust in the Independent State of Croatia. The article gives historical introduction and up-to-date information about archival fonds and collections in the CSA, relevant for the topic. Most of the fonds and collections or some of their series are arranged and listed in detail, and are now in the process of digitization (PONOVA, Jewish Section of the Ustaša Police Directorate in Zagreb, Collection of Records of the Administrative and Military Bodies of the Independent State of Croatia and National Liberation Movement, Police Administration for the City of Zagreb, Hans Helm). Since the territory of the ISC was in some respects much wider than contemporary Croatia, for better understanding of the whole process and events taking place at the NDH, the other archival institutions should also be taken into account (Archives of Yugoslavia and Jewish History Museum in Belgrade, Military Archives in Belgrade, Archives of Vojvodina in Novi Sad, Archives of the State Museum Auschwitz-Birkenau in Oświęcim, Bad Arolsen archives etc.).
