Sažetak
Various studies have found an increased risk of occupational contact dermatitis (OCD) in hairdressing apprentices (HA) compared to older hairdressers. Several published field studies investigated hand dermatitis development in HAs, but there are no data separating irritative and allergic pathways of hand dermatitis development in HAs during schooling. Thus, the main goal of this study was to assess the incidence, 3-year prevalence and clinical characteristics of hand dermatitis, including contact sensitization, in HAs during apprenticeship.
