Sažetak
This paper analyses the concepts of “author” and “authorship” and their relation to literary and visual pieces of art that are present in the socialist discourse of the Eastern Bloc and Yugoslavia. The concept of the author is analyzed through a number of examples taken from articles, cartoons and literary works. A part of these appeared in the journal Narodni kalendar, while some were published in either of the three satirical magazines called Kerempuh, Ludas Matyi and Krokodil (Крокодил). The paper aims to prove that socio-political and ideological circumstances do indeed influence the understanding of the concepts of author and authorship.
