Sažetak
A novel oxa-aza macrocycle 1R (1R = 1, 6, 20, 25-tetraaza-2, 5:8, 9:17, 18:21, 24:27, 28:36, 37- hexabenzo-10, 16, 29, 35-tetraoxa-cyclooctatriakonta) was prepared by reduction of previously reported porous Schiff base macrocycle 1 (1 = 1, 6, 20, 25-tetraaza-2, 5:8, 9:17, 18:21, 24:27, 28:36, 37- hexabenzo-10, 16, 29, 35-tetraoxa-cyclooctatriakonta-1, 6, 20, 25-tetraen) using NaBH4. The compound was characterized by FT-IR and NMR spectroscopy. The extractability of metal cation by compounds 1 and 1R indicates that the highest extraction is achieved for Cu2+ (87%) in the case of compound 1 and for Au3+ (100%), Cu2+ (100%) and Fe3+ (100%) in the case of compound 2. The composition of extracted species in case of 1R and Cu2+ is 1:1 (ligand: metal ratio, Kex = 11.062), and 1:1 ratio for 1R and Ag+ and Au3+(Kex = 8.7107 and 17.667, respectively).
