Sažetak
In this paper, the author is analyzing the activity of Nicolaus Olahus, a distinguished Hungarian prelate in the mid-16th century. He is well known also as an intellectual and diplomat, frequently visiting the Ottoman court in Istanbul on behalf of the Habsburg emperor. The focus of the article is on his role as a titulary bishop of Zagreb for several years, in the above-mentioned context.
