Sažetak
In the later phase of the Early Bronze Age, i.e. the Re Br A2 stage, Eastern Croatia was an area through which metal goods from Northwestern Balkans were distributed further to the North. This can be traced through two types of bronze objects: ornaments with flared and rolled ends, and the shaft-tube axes of the Kozarac type. Ornaments with flared and rolled ends produced in the area of Lower Morava, were transported along the Danube, through Slavonija and Baranja to Northwestern Transdanubia. Kozarac type axes, produced in Bosnia, were distributed in Southern Transdanubia by the bearers of Litzen pottery, who inhabites area of Croatia north of the Sava river. Appearance of bronze products from Balkans in the Kórós hoard, found in the Hungarian part of Baranja, originating from two different production centres, suggest that communication routes intersected in the area of Eastern Croatia. This intersection can be found on the Đakovo plateau, where different cultural appearances of the later phase of Early Bronze Age also intersect: Transdanubian Encrused Pottery Culture, Vatin Culture and Litzen pottery.
