Sažetak
According to the current state of research, it is assumed that the idea of fluted pottery first originated in the northern Carpathian Basin and spread southwards over time, probably during the 13th century BC, where imitations and incorporation of ideas developed the older forms into a new pottery style, which has been recognised as part of the southern groups with fluted pottery. The direct contacts of northern and southern communities and the mutual exchange of knowledge and goods are testified by the traces of decoration, forms, and the specific technique of firing Late Bronze Age fluted pottery.
