Sažetak
Peridural anaesthesia has been applied for more than 25 years as the major anaesthesia for endoscopic urologic operative procedures in our hospital. The method provides valuable benelits for corresponding procedures and appears to be suitable for high aged and high risk patients. Recently, the autours started to apply peridural anaesthesia for laparosopic operative procedures as well. The peritoneal insufflation of carbon dioxide is really a specific condition, but the arterial blood gas patterns suggest that the patients maintain their resplralory function satisfactorily, inspire of spontaneous breathing and higher Intraabdomlnal pressures. Twelve patients underwent laparoscopic choleeystectomy ; the benefits and the difficulties found during the procedures are described. Further effords to improve the methods are to be continued so that the value of the peridural anaesthesia lot laparoscopic operative procedures could be properly estimated.
