Sažetak
Our case is interesting from several points of view. First, there was a prolonged clinical course. The tumor was stable for 20 years, and aggressive behavior was observed after a very long period. This finding demonstrated that even formerly nonaggressive MTSC can undergo sarcomatoid transformation and can produce a widely metastasizing tumor. The second interesting fact is sarcomatoid differentiation in MTSC. The sarcomatoid component in our case is different from the spindle cell population frequently visible in typical MTSC because of marked nuclear atypia and polymorphism. Also, the multicystic appearance of our case is rather unusual for typical MTSC.
