Sažetak
Spiritual intelligence is a form of intelligence that is often overlooked and undervalued, particularly in children. It is the ability to recognize and tap into one’s own spiritual connection, as well as the connection to all of life. It involves a deep understanding of oneself, one’s purpose, and the interconnectedness of all things. Children often possess a natural ability to tap into their spiritual intelligence. They are more likely to be in tune with the world around them, more aware of the feelings and emotions of others and of the world around them. They are often more open to the idea of a higher power and of life’s spiritual mysteries. Children can benefit from developing their spiritual intelligence as it can help them to make sense of the world around them, as well as providing a greater understanding of themselves. It can help them to make important decisions, better manage their emotions and understand the deeper meaning of life. Parents and educators can help foster spiritual intelligence in children through activities such as meditation, mindfulness, self- reflection and creative expression. Encouraging children to explore their spiritual side through activities such as yoga, prayer and journaling can also be beneficial. By nurturing children’s spiritual intelligence, we can help them develop a deeper understanding of themselves, their world and the deeper meaning of life. This can help them to become confident, compassionate and resilient individuals.
