Sažetak
Faith, the Bible and depression are all intertwined in many ways. The Bible is full of stories, teachings, and verses about faith, and it has long been used as a source of comfort for those who are struggling with depression. The Bible speaks of faith in a way that brings hope and strength to those who are facing difficult times. For example, Proverbs 3:5-6 states, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding ; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” This verse encourages us to have faith in God and trust in Him, even when we don't understand what is happening in our lives. The Bible also offers us comfort and hope in the midst of depression. Psalm 34:18 says, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” This verse reminds us that God is always near us, even when we feel alone and overwhelmed. The Bible also speaks of the importance of trusting in God and His will for our lives. Philippians 4:6-7 says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” This verse reminds us to trust in God and His plan for us, even when we don't know what the future holds. The Bible offers us hope, comfort, and strength in the midst of depression. It is a reminder that even in the darkest of times, God is always with us. Through faith in Him, we can find peace, joy, and strength to
