Sažetak
Depression, suicide, and spirituality are all related in some way. Depression, in particular, is a mental illness that can often lead to suicidal thoughts and behaviors, which can be further exacerbated by a lack of connection to spirituality or a higher power. However, there is also evidence that spiritual beliefs and practices can help to mitigate the severity of depression and reduce suicidal thoughts or behaviors. The connection between spirituality and mental health has been well documented in the medical literature. Studies have shown that people with strong spiritual beliefs are better able to cope with depression and other mental illnesses. This is likely because spiritual beliefs provide a sense of hope, purpose, and connection to something larger than oneself. These beliefs can also provide a sense of stability and security in the face of adversity.
