Sažetak
This pape r is the result of calculating and measuring the reflection coefficient S11 of an aperture antenna fed by circular waveguide covered with dielectric material. These results are used in studying the influence of dielectrics on the aperture antenna reflection coefficients. Previous research has shown that proper dielectric radome selection can improve antenna impedance matching, and thus this paper deals with the influence of the modification in dielectric type and dielectric thickness on the coefficients of above mentioned antenna. Measurements and simulations showed good broadband impedance matching.
