Sažetak
This work shows the possibility of the use of solar collectors in cheese production due to energy consumption decrease.
Calculations were done for production capacity of 5000 litters of milk per day.
Calculation model of irradiated sun energy was used during the year and checked by measurement in Osijek.
Numerical analysis showed that the use of solar collectors for preheating water from 20 ° to 90 °C could provide 5-11% of thermal energy needed for cheese production.
