Sažetak
In the aspects of seasonality in the hotel business, the importance of improvement is highlighted tourist offers at the destination level, increasing tourist satisfaction, increasing tourist consumption, the competitiveness of the Croatian tourist product, more substantial inclusion in tourist flows and, ultimately, the extension of the tourist season of a particular tourist destination in the hotel industry of Europe and Croatia. The set goals of the work refer to the concept and characteristics of seasonality in the hotel industry, the dimension of seasonality in the hotel business, and the effects of seasonal movements on the hotel business: costs and profits. The strategy of managing seasonality in the hotel business and the trends of seasonality in the hotel industry in Europe. Achieving the set goals will enable the provision of guidelines for applying new and/or innovative strategies to reduce seasonality to satisfy existing and attract new market segments successfully.
