Sažetak
Teaching strategies which include simulations with analogies are suggested for better understanding and more lasting learning of this abstract concept. Their application provides a comparison of new concepts with the real world, enables visualisation of abstract concepts, motivates students and facilitates meaningful learning. The purpose of this study is to explore the simulation effect on the understanding of the dynamic nature of chemical equilibrium and eliminate misconceptions in high school students. The research was conducted according to a quasi- experimental research design on a sample of second-grade high-school students divided into two classes of different schools. For the purpose of the research, a chemical equilibrium misconceptions test was designed, which was carried out as a pretest and posttest, and the obtained results were analysed with interferential statistics.
