Sažetak
This study applied in-situ 4D X-ray Computed Micro-tomography (XCT) experiments, where the advanced pore morphology (APM) foam elements were 3D scanned and compressed simultaneously for the first time. Such an approach enables a direct comparison between the mechanical response and the internal structure of the closed-cell foam and gives results on how the deformation of the internal structure affects the mechanical response of the aluminum alloy foam.
