Sažetak
In recent decades, the number of research projects on concrete durability has greatly increased, and they have that many of severe problems, such as cracking, delimitation and spalling of concrete cover are related to reinforcement corrosion. That is the reason why various initiatives have been taken successfully in Europe to establish a performance- and reliability-based durability design approach for concrete. In this paper a review of models for service life design is given. Also some aspects of the author's model are described. The future development of durability design for reinforced concrete structure is also suggested.
