Sažetak
Crowdfunding is a way of financing projects and business which enables fundraisers to collect money from a large number of people via online platforms, used mostly by startup companies or financing new projects or ideas. Funding is done on the internet, ie on crowdfunding platforms via several different models. The subject of this paper is to present crowdfunding as a concept, to explain models of crowdfunding and to present one example of financing tourism event in the Republic of Croatia.
