Sažetak
It is known that chemical plant protection products are the most effective against harmfull organisams. Although they are effective, their actions affect the environment in a bad way. Since consequences of the use of agrochemicals, it is increasingly encouraged farmers in an ecological way that is less harmful to nature, man and animals as well as enables the production of higher nutritional value food. This paper evaluates obtain survey data on the extent to which farmers are familiar with the legal regulations related to plant protection in organic agriculture. Based on a sample of a hundred respondents, the survey showed that about 70% of farmers are familiar with legal regulations, plant protection measures and allowed plant protection products in ecological agricultural production, while 46% believe that there are not enough of them in the Republic of Croatia.
