Sažetak
Distribution of strains at static bending in the plastic range is interesting for its being close to real distribution. Strains in both longitudinal and tangential direction at static bending with load application in the centre of 20x20x300 mm specimen were determined by the analysis of the photos taken from a video recording of static bending. According to research results, this method was proven to be appropriate, if certain improvements were made. The obtained distribution in tangential direction shows the presence of tensil strains at static bending. Distribution of strains in longitudinal direction shows similarity to the so far used models, but it’ s not completely proven statistically.
