Sažetak
Contemporary photographic technologies allow erasing, combining, swapping and generating new faces, changing the traditional relationship between the subject portrayed and its portrait. In the following paper two aspects traditionaly defining relationship between the portrait photograph to the person portrayed are approached ; the agency claiming someone exists and personal identity (PI) describing qualities of this existence as unique. Parallel photographic histories of identity portrait and generative images having their successors in biometric and generated portraits are challenged with the horror movie scenario of stealing face, resulting in death of the agent or serious crime so to be able to approach themes as illegal datasets of portraits. Although datasets used to train generative adversarial networks are not used in identity theft, technology does not guarantee that creation of the new face will never have a result in regard to the agency of the portrait owner. In order to anticipate scenarios we can also rely on horror fiction narratives.
