Sažetak
In the first two decades of the Slovak professional theatre, the 1920s and 30s, Croatian dramatic literature was often seen on the Slovak professional stage. It was a part of the Slovaks goal of showing the national theatre in a Slovak light. In the 30s and 40s, when the Slovak professional theatre was in its artistic prime, the Croatian contribution to the Slovak theatre could be seen not only through the translated works of dramatic literature, but also through the work of leading Croatian artists of the time, as well as foreign artists who gained experience in the Zagreb theatre, which they applied in the Slovak counterpart.
