Sažetak
The results demonstrate the differences in personality traits among adolescent athletes and non-athletes. There is evidence of different effects of individual and team sports for male and female high-school students and also the evidence that athletes from individual sports posses more positive traits than non-athletes. One of the most important findings of this research is the confirmation of the assumption that athletes represent a heterogeneous group and that it is necessary to consider this differences in order to understand various effects that sports can have for adolescent boys and girls.
