Sažetak
Social obligations in corporate social responsibil ity (hereafter CSR) represent the commitment of business entities to proactively engage with stake holders to address social issues such as protecting human and children's rights, preserving health, addressing poverty and unequal wealth, and pre venting corruption or unethical trade and labor practices. It is a commitment to create positive business impacts and distribute them fairly to the company’s stakeholders while respecting social customs and expectations. In this context, the term obligation could be synonymous with the term responsibility (in the corporate sense). The adjective social is regularly used in the con cept of corporate social responsibility and represents the core value of CSR. It usually covers all environmental, social, and governmental (ESG) aspects and balances them. Modern busi ness organizations, due to their role in society, do have a strong impact on the development of soci ety and affect them directly through their own activities. There is almost no crucial problem in modern society that can be solved without the direct involvement of the corporate sector. There fore, corporate social obligations include the sen sitivity of a company, its managers, employees, shareholders, and other stakeholders to various issues of social life within a specific society. Social obligations formulated through a specific set of actions are part of the CSR strategy and sustainability of its business model.
