Sažetak
An abbreviated form of ecological sustainability is eco-sustainability. It refers to ecological contri butions to sustainable development made highly efficient and effective. The term “efficient” refers to the use of as few natural resources as possible in any activity, and “effective” means using the right resources or conserving them to encourage more sustainable behavior. Innovation may refer to each phase, input, process, and output. Innovation also relates to the degree and extent of a novel product, service, procedure, or process that is unknown to the organizational form ranging from a single business organization to the whole industry. Inno vation should create some type of value (typically financial) and build competitiveness. Eco sustainability innovations result in the more effi cient distribution of natural resources or their complete conservation within a social activity or business operation. Solar technologies, informa tion technology, water-filtering systems, recycling initiatives, and other technologies leading to lower amounts of natural resources consumed or their complete replacement are all examples of eco-sustainability innovations. In short, eco sustainability innovations capture any sustainable positive environmental effect irrespective of its origin, size, and form. So, it relates to both tech nological and nontechnological innovations.
