Sažetak
The volume entitled "Half-Century of Romani Dancing Contexts in Macedonia" by the author Professor Elsie Ivancich Dunin encompasses the celebration of Roma people regarding the spring holiday St. George /Gjurgjovden/Erdelezi, from the 5th to the 9th of May. The book collected representative choice of twelve articles selected from the voluminous material compiled by the author and originally presented at international conferences in USA, Europe and Macedonia. The book is enriched with selected markers of changes shown by decades, as well as visual material-photographs, that for the most part are a result of extensive fieldwork by Prof. Ivancich Dunin.

The book is a collection of works by prof. emeritus Elzi Ivancich Dunin, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of her research project on the Roma celebrations of the spring holiday of St. George's Day in Skopje, Macedonia. The book is richly illustrated with quality photographs from her field research in Roma communities in the suburban municipalities of Shutka and Topaana, in Macedonia.
