Sažetak
The COVID-19 pandemic brought into the focus of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) the need to further develop or even, in some cases, start with digital education (DE). It is accepted worldwide that the concept of DE continuously expands. However, in the new circumstances caused by COVID- 19 lockdown and semi-lockdown situations, HEIs become aware of the fact that stronger connectivity efforts even inside the same HEI should be one of the goals in the attempt to offer quality education in unpredictable and uncertain environment. Education during the COVID-19 pandemic faces many challenges even in university institutions that are experienced in online education. In our talk we will focus on two main issues: the situation at Croatian HEIs and the DECriS project which has been just approved by the Erasmus + program.
