Sažetak
In the Stara Drava canal 270 phytoplankton taxa were found, whose development was influenced by sediment, being was one of strongest factors and forming an of allochtonpus solid organic waste. At the same time in the Lake Sakadaš 191 phytoplankton taxa were found, and strongest factor, influencing their development was varying water lavel of the Danube. At all sites (I, II, III) water was mostly beta mesosaprobic. Once the revitalisation begins, this results will be useful for further investigation of polluted anh demaged waters of Stara Drava canal and Lake Sakadaš.
