Sažetak
Globalization is the process of reducing or eliminating barriers to international trade in economic terms and increasing international economic integration between countries. This makes trade easier, customs duties on goods lower and the process of goods flow in the world accelerated. There is no person who is not involved in the phenomenon of globalization in the modern world. Globalization has its pros and cons. There is no correct and identical definition of globalization, it is defined differently depending on the area, and more and more different literature deal with this topic. At the beginning of the paper, the development of globalization was defined. The positive and negative sides are presented. The main part of the paper will present the globalization of Croatia and how it affects it. A comparison of the economic globalization of Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina will be presented in particular. The paper will present the impact on the Croatian economy due to EU accession.
