Sažetak
Pod zidom, colour etching by M. C. Crnčić from around 1910, suffered from severe mechanical damage caused by grime, insects and water. As this type of damage also greatly compromised the aesthetic value of the print, the goal of conservation was to strengthen the compromised structure of the object, as well as to improve its aesthetic aspect by discoloration and stain reduction. Complex conservation treatments also included removing stains, washing, deacidification and bleaching. Sun bleaching method was chosen for being the gentlest and not harmful to cellulose, and it was simultaneously used as a process of deacidification in aqueous solution with calcium hydroxide.
