Sažetak
The rapid progress of HS research implies the need to use a standardized and validated classification system that records the severity of the disease and its activity. In routine work we can estimate the severity of the disease with Hurley classification or more precisely with the new modified Hurley classification proposed by the Duche Hidradenitis Suppurativa Expert Group. The most recent classification - IHS4 is also a dynamic HS classification, but it is simple and adequate for clinical practice and enables early intervention by systemic therapy. At the same time, this classification provides the ability to estimate the effects of surgery. The acceptability of the two new classifications both for dermatologists and surgeons is an important feature because a disease as complex and difficult as HS requires a mulitidisciplinary approach.
