Sažetak
The impact was tested of physical-chemical properties on the yield and composition of products in the gas-oil catalytic cracking process. Yields were determined of all major products, as was the chemical composition of gasoline and LPG fractions. The tests were performed according to the standard MAT procedure using three feeds in the fluidzed layer of the catalytic cracking process. Conversion changes were achieved by changing temperature within the range of 480-520 C, with a constant C/O ratio of 3.00. The highest LPG-fraction yields, as well as those of olefinic hydrocarbons within its composition, were obtained by applying paraffin-type feedstock (Figure 3). From the gasoline selectivity curves, one may observe an increase in the yield of this fraction with conversion to the occurrence of over-cracking. The maximum yield for Feed 3 was obtained at 81 mass % conversion, which is 7.5 mass % higher than for Feed 1 achieved at 72 mass % conversion. The highest yields of olefinic hydrocarbons in the LPG and gasoline fractions were achieved by applying paraffinic feed at increased process temperatures. Conducting the process at lower temperatures with the same feed influences the decrease in the share of aromatic gaasoline in the gasoline fraction, constituting a significant impact in the environmental sense. The results have shown that by applying the aromatic feed, the highest yields of light cyclic-oil fraction are obtained, while the highest tendency towards coke generation on the catalyst has also been observed.
