Sažetak
The paper presents a prosumer with a grid- connected photovoltaic system and battery storage that enables better optimization and management of produced electricity. The prosumer is a grid user with a power plant within his installation, primarily used for his own energy needs. In this paper, the excess of produced energy is transferred to the electricity grid or stored in a battery and used when production from the photovoltaic system is less than demand. The consumption management algorithm was based on actual photovoltaic power plant production and family house consumption measurements. A battery has been added to the model to test its impact on financial savings. The price of the battery is not considered. Consumption, production, battery charging and discharging characteristics, and financial savings are shown for typical production days of the photovoltaic power plant.
