Sažetak
The Balkans, due to its strategic position, throughout the history hosted many great civilizations such as the Roman Empire, Alexander Empire, Ottoman Empire. All civilizations created in the Balkans or dominated the Balkans, have left permanent abstract and concrete traces in the Balkans. Architectural works and artistic works are the most important ones of the observable works. Although they are the subject to many researches, with the culture of civilizations, architectural works created by the mixing of the culture formed in the Balkans and the resulting works of art have not been studied sufficiently. In this context, in order to present the studies on culture, architectural works and artistic activities in the Balkans to the world of science and introduce them to all researchers ; The main themeof the 8th International Balkan History Studies Symposium was “Culture, Architecture and Art in the Balkans”.
