Sažetak
Upon the invitation from anthropologists Mária del Pilar Fortunic Oliveira, on 7 of September 2018 preliminary archaeological field survey was conducted on the Island of San Lorenzo, La Punta, Callao (Fig 1.). The main purpose of this visit was to conduct the preliminary field survey in the area which was identified as a possible archaeological site by Mária del Pilar Fortunic Oliveira, respectively the area that contains the structures of presumably anthropogenic origin and potentially archeological age. The location so far has never been explored archaeologically. The objective of a preliminary archaeological survey is to establish the origin of the remains visible on the surface, to establish if there are any archaeological artifacts on the ground surface and to estimate if there is a need for further archaeological investigations. If these remains are proven to be of anthropogenic origin dated in any archaeological period, results of the field survey can be used to determine guidelines for further archaeological investigation.
