Sažetak
The aim of this case study is to analyse Lehrman‘s records on the ways of maintaining his, i.e. Belgian, authority and discipline in the Congo. In particular, the analysis of his records seeks to investigate in which cases he used violent methods and why and what was his justification for applying these methods.
