Sažetak
In this study we apply the concept of equivalent wage on a large scale survey of recent graduates who are now participating at the labour market. We exploited a very rich data (Reflex and Hegesco) on the individuals in 19 countries (mostly European countries, Turkey and Japan). The results we have obtained indicate that using a different measure of job quality will lead to a substantially different ranking of jobs across countries. In addition, after we have computed the equivalent wage for each individual we have used this information in order to retrieve the willingness- to-pay for each non-wage job characteristic. Finally, we have used the Shapley value decomposition in order to decompose the total willingness-to-pay on the contributions attributed to each non-wage job characteristic.
