Sažetak
According to Senge (1990), learning organizations are organizations "where people continually expand their capacity to create the results they truly desire, where new and expansive patterns of thinking are nurtured, where collective aspiration is set free, and where people are continually learning to see the whole (reality) together". It is suggested that learning organizations are developed at the individual level by engaging in the implementation of learning disciplines that then become the state of consciousness for those who have mastered them. However, research on learning organizations puts emphasis on learning organization outcomes such as productivity, profitability, innovation, etc., rather than on the process itself, especially from the individual perspective. So, did we get it all wrong about learning organizations? This presentation, by examining learning disciplines one by one and decoding them from the spiritual perspective, suggests that we well may have been wrong all along. It is now time to return to Senge's understanding of learning organizations and attempt to implement his original concept. To do this, however, we should first explore spirituality at the individual level so that it becomes our experience and second nature. Therefore, the purpose of this presentation was to decode the learning organization philosophy from the spiritual perspective and suggest spirituality as the missing link in developing true learning organizations so that we return to the right path in both implementation and research.
