Sažetak
In recent years, the metatronic concept of D-dot wire (a structure that guides the electric displacement current through subwavelength air channels going through zero-permittivity media) has been investigated. A dual concept of B-dot wire (consisting of a subwavelength air channel located in a zero-permeability material) has been analyzed numerically, and quasi-magnetostatic propagation with an infinite wavelength was observed. Finally, a practical realization of a B-dot in the microwave range, based on miniaturized split-ring-resonators, is proposed.
